National Museums Liverpool is a group of museums and galleries sharing the stories, collections and cultural heritage of Liverpool and the wider world. The Merseyside Maritime Museum explores the city’s connections to the sea, from its maritime history and global trade to the lives and experiences of the people shaped by it.
I was commissioned to photograph visitors at the Merseyside Maritime Museum, capturing people engaging with the museum and experiencing its exhibitions. The focus was on documenting moments of discovery, interaction and curiosity, creating natural imagery that reflects the museum as a welcoming and engaging place to visit.
The resulting photography provides National Museums Liverpool with a collection of visitor imagery for use across its marketing and communications. By capturing moments throughout the museum, the photographs help bring the visitor experience to life, showing how people engage with its spaces, collections and stories.
Photography for websites, campaigns and marketing materials, documenting the visitor experiences that bring cultural organisations to life.
