The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic is one of the UK’s oldest concert organisations, playing a central role in Liverpool’s cultural life through its orchestra, live performances and community programmes.
I was commissioned to provide full-day event photography for Big Music Day Out, a free event opening Liverpool Philharmonic Hall to audiences of all ages. The programme brought together orchestral performances, family activities and local artists, celebrating the breadth of music across the city.
Working across the full day, I captured the event as it unfolded, from live performances and audience interactions to the atmosphere throughout the venue. The final collection provides a visual record of the day, documenting both the performances and the people who brought the event to life, for use across Liverpool Philharmonic’s communications and promotional materials.
From photography that captures the atmosphere of the day to films that bring it to life, I work with event organisers to document their events and create visuals for future promotion, press and marketing.
