Chloe Lloyd is a British Photographer, born and based in Liverpool. In 2019 she received a BA (Hons) First Class in Photojournalism from Staffordshire University.
Lloyd’s practice is rooted in documentary and photojournalistic traditions, often capturing intimate moments in chaotic settings. Her photographs move quietly through loud spaces, covering corporate events, protests and celebrations in the same manner, reflecting the rhythm of life without disturbing it. The resulting imagery is candid, intimate and focused on the individual experience within collective gatherings.
Alongside her photographic practice, Lloyd brings professional experience in marketing, creative strategy and brand storytelling. She has collaborated with organisations including Liverpool City Council, West Midlands Metro, Liverpool John Lennon Airport, National Museums Liverpool, Dot-Art and The Anfield Wrap. This dual perspective allows her to produce work that is both visually compelling and culturally grounded, speaking with authenticity to audiences and clients alike.
Lloyd’s work has been shortlisted for multiple prizes, including the 2025 Women In Art Prize and the 2024 Belfast Photo Festival, and has been exhibited in Glasgow Gallery of Photography’s Home exhibition.
