THE ERAS TOUR
When Taylor Swift brought The Eras Tour to Anfield, the city filled with fans long before the first song was played. This work was self-initiated, focusing on the culture surrounding the event rather than the performance itself.
The intention was to document how people experience a major live event beyond the stadium, how fans gather, prepare and express themselves in public space.
Capturing fan culture around a global event.
Photography focused on fans arriving at Anfield, spending time together and moving through the surrounding area. Attention was given to dress, gesture and interaction, the visual language fans create for themselves when attending a cultural moment at this scale.
The work centres on anticipation and presence. The images capture the sense of occasion that forms around the event, showing how a global tour becomes a shared, local experience.
The resulting photographs sit as a visual record of fan culture around a major live event, reflecting the emotional investment and collective energy that exists beyond the stage itself.
